Automotive innovation is gaining pace, but in what areas and among which companies? The latest State of Innovation report from the Thomson Reuters IP & Science business unit shows an 8% rise in industry innovation from the end of 2014 to the end of 2015, as gauged by research and patent activity worldwide. This marks a notable acceleration from the 1% rise recorded in 2014.
