Frontier and Versa were company’s highlights
After announcing a sales record in 2012 with 100,000 units sold and becoming Brazil’s top growing brand, Nissan do Brasil has kicked the year off on track. With 7,453 units sold in January, Nissan has 2.5% market share. The pickup Frontier and the compact sedan Versa were the highlights of the month. The Frontier accounted for 1,395 registrations, an increase of 25.9% compared to January 2012. Versa, the market’s first Japanese compact sedan in Brazil, totaled 2,000 units, an increase of 26.5% compared to same month in 2012.
January Highlights:
Frontier – The pickup has 9.2% of market share with 1,395 units sold, thus keeping the sales leadership in the segment in Recife and Curitiba.
Versa – With 2,000 registrations, Versa had an increase of 26.5% over the same period in 2012.
March – The compact model had 2,531 units sold.
Livina Family – 816 units were registered with 413 units of the Livina, 243 units of the X-Gear, and 160 units of the Grand Livina.
Dealerships – After the inaugurations of Cical (Ribeirão Preto – SP) and Sansul (Americana – SP), NBA’s dealership network currently totals 159 outlets.
