Nearly 1,000 new customers register every day to use a car-sharing vehicle emov, since the launch of the offer.

emov provides access to a fleet of 500 “free-floating” electric Citroën C-Zéro vehicles. Accordingly, users can use a vehicle and then leave it at the place of their choice in and around Madrid.

The service has many advantages for residents in Madrid. First, the four seats available in the vehicle open up the service to families and small groups. Second, thanks to the vehicle being electric, it can be parked free of charge in parking bays that normally charge a parking fee. Lastly, the service can be used in a wide geographic area, since it covers a part of the capital city’s outskirts.

Based in Madrid, emov was created as a joint venture between Eysa and Free2Move, Groupe PSA’s mobility services brand.

On this occasion, Brigitte Courtehoux, Head of Groupe PSA’s Connected Services & New Mobility Business Unit, said: “The success of emov in Madrid attests to our ability to meet our customers’ requirements. It is a true success for the Free2Move brand. Groupe PSA is clearly positioned as a mobility solutions provider!”
