The Polish bus and coach builder Solaris has built a pure electric bus based on the 8.9m Urbino family midibus. Its powertrain uses a 120kW four-pole asynchronous traction motor supplied by Vossloh Kiepe, powered by two liquid-cooled, 120kWh lithium-ion batteries weighing 700kg each. They have a rated voltage of 600V.
