US renewable fuel company Amyris Biotechnologies’ Brazilian subsidiary Amyris Brasil S.A. has launched a biofuel bus pilot project with the city of Sao Paulo, reports VNews. The project will operate three urban public transport buses on 5% renewable diesel produced from sugarcane feedstock, and three others on 100% renewable diesel.
