Germany: CV segment posts strong start to 2011

Figures published by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) show a 41% increase in commercial vehicle registrations in January 2011 at 22,840 units. Comparatively, the industry had accounted for registrations of 16,250 vehicles in January 2010. CV numbers last year were impacted by the global financial and economic crisis.
