At a media roundtable in Akron, Ohio, Bridgestone Americas' top executive, Gary Garfield, conceded consumer tyre demand is slow but described sales of OE truck tyres as "crazy." According to Garfield, the OE truck tyre market in the US is up around 55-60% over 2010 levels.
