Automotive battery manufacturer Thai Storage Battery (3K Battery) has secured a contract with Daimler AG to supply valve regulated lead-acid batteries to Mercedes-Benz. The agreement calls for 3K to produce and supply 500,000 auxiliary batteries over a period of four years, starting in 2012.
