NNG LLC has partnered with Logicom to supply its iGO Navigation software to the entire range of Mappy PNDs. The devices have entered the European market this May.

The partnership between NNG and Logicom foresees 12 types of Mappy PNDs installed with the latest iGO Naviation software. The product range includes navigation devices suitable for camper vans and trucks. These are equipped with a special POI database as well as route planning capabilities to take the size and weight of the particular vehicles into consideration.

Being an independent navigation software provider who serves over 150 partners worldwide, NNG is able to deliver customized and platform neutral iGO Navigation solutions to market in a very short time. “The key to our success is the easy-to-use and fast iGO Navigation software, which we continuously develop further with the latest features and functionalities,” said Sergio Ghirardelli, Vice President of Auto Aftermarket & PND at NNG. “Our relationship with Logicom goes back a long time; we worked together on several projects in the past. Therefore, we are even more delighted to renew our cooperation with them, and strengthen our presence in the competitive European PND market.”

Lifetime map updates from NNG’s map and content update portal Naviextras.com, permanently guarantee up-to-date navigation. Additionally, selected devices are installed with 3D landmarks, digital elevation and junction views as well as NNG’s Intelligent Quick Search functionality. Several of the device types feature TTS (text to speech) and TMC for more personalized and exact route guidance.
