Neumann: Opel “had issues with the brand”

Neumann discusses Opel/Vauxhall’s brand perception, improvements, and a generally positive outlook

Dr Karl-Thomas Neumann, Chief Executive Opel/Vauxhall, is feeling optimistic that Opel can turn around its fortunes and be back in the black by 2016. However, the turnaround has to happen inside Europe, specifically in the centre of Europe, where Neumann believes market share has been lost for too long. The goal for 2014 is for Opel to win market share. At the 84th Geneva Motor Show, Neumann discussed Opel/Vauxhall’s brand perception, improvements, and a generally positive outlook.
