Truck launches are important events. A new truck represents both time and money on the part of the manufacturer, and no little newsprint invariably accompanies the unveiling of a new product. So it’s instructive to run a news search for Daimler’s Future Truck 2025 launch. As might be expected, the trade publications in both Europe and North America are not short on coverage. But the launch - and its attendant Highway Pilot product - also features among the pages of both the financial and the broader press. This is unusual.
