BMW has outlined its leadership succession plans, under which Harald Krüger, currently board member for production, will take over as Chief Executive from Norbert Reithofer next May. At that time, Reithofer will become Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The announcement provides clarity for employees, shareholders and customers.
