ASEAN car project gathers steam

In 2013, when Proton spoke of its turnaround plan, it said the main areas of focus would be on improving car quality and rectifying past misconceptions. The company went on to state that the plan took into consideration short- and medium-term solutions to improve Proton's image, to create new sales avenues and income streams for the OEM.
