Some within the industry predict that commercial vehicles (CVs) will be the first to enter a stage of autonomous driving on public roads. While autonomous vehicle (AV) developments are very much in the early stages, Hans-Werner Kaas, Senior Partner, McKinsey, told Automotive World that he predicts this is “likely to happen” in the 2023-2040 period.
