- Established supplier for steering and chassis systems
- More than 600 new products available
- Broad portfolio of products for microcars to heavy trucks
With more than 13 000 steering and chassis components for passenger cars and commercial vehicles, the ZF Services brand Lemförder is already a strong and well established partner in the independent spare parts business – and is now once again markedly expanding its range of products at an OE level of quality. 600 newly added products – including components for vehicles that were just recently launched on the market – demonstrate how much the aftersales business benefits from the innovative power of the ZF Group.
ZF Services offers its core product groups always with a 95-percent product coverage and in OE quality. The aftersales business unit of ZF Friedrichshafen AG is in the process of markedly expanding its Lemförder brand portfolio of steering and chassis components. Control arms for front axles in the BMW 3 Series to 6 Series, complete control arms for the rear axle of the new BMW X4, and even stabilizer links for the electrically driven BMW i3 are now available. The front control arms in the Porsche Panamera, on the market since 2014, are also part of the Lemförder product portfolio. Thanks to the product expansion, all steering and chassis components for the microcars produced by the VW Group (VW Up, Seat Mii, Skoda Citigo) are now also on offer. And for commercial vehicle giants like the Mercedes-Benz Actros, the new Unimog, and the Mercedes-Benz Zetros, 56 new Lemförder precision parts were added.
Steering and chassis components represent the most important link between the vehicle and the road. Control arms, stabilizers, but also rubber-to-metal components, which dampen vibrations and noises, ensure safety and comfort when driving. Only absolute precision in the design, manufacture, and assembly of all components ensures that a passenger car, commercial vehicle, or bus can be safely controlled at all times.
The established Lemförder product brand from ZF Services therefore stands not only for OE quality, but also provides extensive technological expertise through its service portfolio including the in-house [pro]Tech workshop concept. This enables workshops to easily identify and repair defective parts.
