A raft of foreign OEMs has exited Russia since the beginning of the year. Vehicle manufacturers have significantly downscaled or even halted operations as part of their increasingly nervous reactions to the new unfolding realities in the country.

The convergence of the negative fallouts from a sluggish national economy, drastic devaluation of the rouble and progressively biting western sanctions has eroded most consumers' spending power.
