Semcon and PowerCell are looking to revolutionise the production process of fuel cells

International engineering and technology company Semcon believes it is contributing to a “breakthrough” in the fuel cell industry that could dramatically decrease costs and change the complexion of the automotive industry.

It has signed a new contract with PowerCell – a Swedish company that has patented technology for generating electricity from fuel cells. Together, the companies will leverage PowerCell’s products and Semcon’s manufacturing expertise to optimise fuel cell production.
