Dongfeng-Renault Automotive Company (DRAC) has recently announced the production of its first electric vehicle (EV) in China. Rollout will begin in 2017, and the model will be heavily based on Renault’s Fluence ZE, which was phased out of the French OEM’s European portfolio after battery-swap company Better Place declared bankruptcy.
