TE Connectivity Ltd. (NYSE: TEL), a world leader in connectivity, today announced that engineers Keith Denlinger and Dr. Maurice Kordahi have been awarded the company’s prestigious annual Lifetime Achievement Awards. The awards were presented during the company’s annual Technical Conference (TechCon) held in Shanghai, China.

In its eighth year, TechCon is a hallmark event that brings together close to 500 of the company’s engineers to celebrate and advance innovation globally. TechCon is an inspiring week of knowledge-sharing and cross-company collaboration that includes interactive forums and poster sessions, roundtable “Ask the Experts” discussions, a technology showcase, and sessions featuring TE’s senior leaders and external authorities on innovation and engineering design. The TechCon event also features the “INNOVATER Games,” an internal platform for TE’s engineers to showcase their expertise by sharing innovative ideas that can potentially be developed into new revenue-generating products and solutions for customers.

The culmination of the four-day conference is the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Awards for which Denlinger and Kordahi were recognized. The Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented to TE employees who are distinguished by the depth and consistency of their technical contributions throughout their career.

Keith Denlinger, senior director, Engineering, Automotive Group Management, has led the R&D engineering team for TE’s North American Automotive Group for 16 years and accumulated more than 20 patents.

Dr. Maurice Kordahi, managing director, Undersea Cable and Mechanical Development, was recognized for his leadership in the mechanical design of undersea cable transmission systems. His track record of innovation encompasses more than a dozen patents and has garnered international recognition including his being named the recipient of the Research & Development Council of New Jersey’s 2014 Thomas Edison Patent Award.

“The entire TE organization congratulates Keith and Maurice on their tremendous accomplishments and we thank them for their long-standing demonstration of leadership and collaboration,” said TE Connectivity Chairman and CEO Tom Lynch. “They are both shining examples of the value of teamwork, engineering supporting business goals, and most importantly, partnering with our customers to solve their most pressing technical challenges.”
