Vauxhall has handed over the keys to a brand new Vivaro to Edipaws, a professional dog walking and pet care services company in Surrey.
The Vivaro Sportive 2700 1.6CDTi 120ps L1H1 in Platinum Silver, which was presented to Edipaws owner Helen Hughes, is fitted with rear parking sensors, LED daytime running lights, electric windows, multi-function trip computer and Bluetooth connectivity.
Handed over by Jayme Ablitt, New Vehicle Sales Commercial Vehicle Specialist, at Vauxhall commercial vehicle retailer Go Vauxhall in Crawley, the new Vivaro will be used to transport up to 12 dogs for pick-up and drop-off to owners and enroute to dog walks in the Surrey countryside.
“Having had some bad luck with vans over the years, I wanted something reliable and I love the shape of the new Vivaro,” said Edipaws owner Helen Hughes. “It’s great to drive, and so economical as I do a lot of stopping and starting in my field of work.”
“The suspension is perfectly suited to a van with a load of dogs in the rear, and I also find the hill-start assist incredibly useful.”
The new van addition creates a two-strong Vivaro line-up for the successful dog walking business, sitting alongside its existing first-generation Vivaro 2700 CDTi SWB.
GO Vauxhall’s Jayme Ablitt commented: “I’m thrilled that Helen has found the new Vivaro so well-suited to her business; the practicality and comfort of the Vivaro spans so many types of businesses, and this is a brilliant example of its adaptability. It’s great to know the Vivaro can be so welcoming to our canine as well as human friends!”
Richard Collier, National Commercial Vehicle and B2B Manager at Vauxhall added: “The new Vivaro, built in our Luton plant, continues to be a resounding success for UK businesses. Edipaws’ Vivaro purchase is a prime example of the van’s efficiency and comfort appealing to a wide range of businesses.”
