Established in 2008, Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles (VECV) is a joint venture in India between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors. The JV produces light and medium duty trucks, buses, heavy duty trucks and also very high end premium trucks through Volvo Trucks.
Automotive World spoke to Vinod Aggarwal, Chief Executive of the JV, about the current status of the operation, how he sees 2015 closing and what prospects he thinks 2016 holds for VECV and for the Indian truck industry.
