Although established OEMs, Tier 1s and disruptors may be taking the spotlight when it comes to driverless vehicle testing, these are not the only companies with autonomous cars out on public roads.
One company that has eluded much media attention is California-based start-up Cruise Automation. That is, until reports that one of its test vehicles had crashed into a car in San Francisco began circulating the Internet.
