Frank has been a key figure in Nissan’s manufacturing organization, joining the company in 2007 and, following several promotions, becoming Vice President for Spanish Operations in 2011. Under his leadership, Nissan’s manufacturing operations in Spain have delivered various successful launches – including the all-electric e-NV200 van, the Pulsar, the NT500 and the award-wining NP300 Navara pick-up truck.

A fluent Spanish-speaker, he had his first four-year assignment in Spain in 2005, when he made remarkable contributions at Nissan’s Avila plant. Since February 2015, he has been responsible for the operations of the plants in Barcelona, Cantabria and Avila.

Redmer van der Meer, currently Division General Manager Overseas Program Director’s Office and New Business Development, is moving to Nissan Latin America, where he has been appointed Vice President, Planning Office. This new established Planning Office for Latin America will concentrate project management, product planning and market intelligence functions. Redmer will be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

All appointments are effective April 1, 2016.
