The number of passenger car vehicles that are equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) is rising. According to a study by Marketsandmarkets, the global market for the technology will grow at a CAGR of 10.44% between 2016 and 2021 before reaching a value of US$42.40bn. Adoption of ADAS in the commercial vehicle (CV) segment could significantly reduce the number of road traffic incidents if truck manufacturers commit to the technology.
