Data industry senses auto industry’s need for predictive analytics

In the motion picture adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s science-fiction novel The Minority Report, technology has developed to the point where human behaviour, including instances of crime, can be predicted. Some have suggested that similar strides could be made in automotive cyber security through predictive data analysis, which could spot hacks as – or even before – they are carried out.
