Michael Nash speaks to SEAT’s Fabian Simmer about the company’s plan for the future, which revolves around digitalisation

Electrification is the overwhelming trend at the 2016 Paris Motor Show as many OEMs showcase their latest products and prototypes, with promises of ground-breaking battery technology and impressive range figures. Volkswagen was no exception, with its ID concept making a world premiere. Capable of achieving a range of 300km (186 miles), the model is set to hit the market by 2020.

Sister company SEAT, however, took a different approach.
