Platooning could cut truck crash stats

Human error is the primary cause of 94% of all road traffic collisions, according to statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). As a result, the organisation believes that the deployment of autonomous vehicles could help significantly lower the amount of serious crashes around the world. To that end, platooning could play a key role for the commercial vehicle (CV) segment.
