Alternative mobility schemes continue to attract interest and new players are springing up all the time. DriveNow was one of the earliest on the scene. The joint venture between BMW and Sixt began by offering car-sharing in Munich back in 2011. Today it boasts more than 850,000 customers across 11 cities, recording more than 600,000 drives every month. Chief Executive Sebastian Hofelich describes the developments over the past five years as "amazing."
