Effective March 15, 2017, or as soon as contracts allow, DuPont Performance Materials will increase prices for all Zytel, Zytel HTN, Minlon, Hytrel, Crastin and Rynite products.
Zytel polymers and compounds, Zytel HTN, Minlon and Hytrel will be increased by the equivalent of 300 US Dollars per metric ton. Crastin and Rynite products will be increased by the equivalent of 250 US Dollars per metric ton. This will be applied globally and higher increases may be required for some specialty grades. This price increase is needed as a result of the continued sharp escalation in the cost of certain key raw materials and is in addition to the price increases announced on Feb. 2, 2017.
