Nissan Group is making several management changes aimed at maintaining its momentum in the U.S. market. All changes are effective immediately.
“These changes will ensure that we have the right leaders in place to continue growing our business in North America as we embark on a new mid-term business plan,” said José Muñoz, chief performance officer (CPO), Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and chairman, Nissan North America. “Our efforts toward a more regional approach within the U.S. have already begun to pay off with increased sales and market share, and we expect these changes to accelerate the gains.”
Organizational Changes
Billy Hayes, currently vice president, Nissan Southeast Region, is promoted to the new role of division vice president, Nissan Sales. Hayes will have responsibility for driving performance in the Nissan Southeast, Central, Mid-Atlantic and Mountain regions.
Judy Wheeler, currently vice president, Sales, Nissan Division U.S., is also promoted to the new role of division vice president, Nissan Sales. Wheeler will have responsibility for driving performance in the Nissan West, Northwest, Midwest and Northeast regions.
Andrew Tavi, currently vice president, Legal, Government Affairs and Human Resources (HR), is promoted to division vice president, Corporate and External Affairs. In this role, he will retain responsibility for Legal, Government Affairs and HR, while adding responsibility for the Corporate Development, Planning, Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Compliance functions in North America.
Dan Mohnke, currently vice president, Chief Marketing Manager (CMM) and Marketing Operations, is named vice president, Strategy and Digital Acceleration. In this new role, Mohnke will have responsibility to accelerate and drive implementation of critical initiatives in North America, including enhanced regionalization efforts, digital transformation, data analytics and many other core projects supporting Nissan’s new mid-term plan.
Marketing and Sales
Scott Shirley, currently director, Marketing Operations is promoted to vice president, CMM and Marketing Operations, replacing Mohnke.
Mike Rocco, currently regional vice president, Nissan Mid-Atlantic Region, is named regional vice president, Nissan Central Region, replacing Fred DePerez who has assumed a previously announced role overseeing global light commercial vehicle (LCV) operations. Rocco’s successor will be named at a later date.
Eric Ledieu, currently director, CMM, is named regional vice president, Nissan Southeast Region, replacing Hayes.
Matt Ericson, currently regional sales and marketing manager, Nissan Mountain Region, is promoted to director, Marketing Operations, replacing Shirley.
Tim Franklin, currently senior manager, CMM, is promoted to director, Nissan Product Planning in charge of SUV, Truck and LCV models, replacing Rich Miller who was previously announced as Nissan’s global frame SUV program director.
Anne Corrao, currently Director, CMM, will have the responsibility for Altima, Maxima, Z, GT-R and NISMO replacing Ledieu.
Brandon White, currently Director, CMM, will have the responsibility for Rogue, Rogue Sport, Murano, Pathfinder and Armada, replacing Phil O’Connor, who was previously appointed director, INFINITI Marketing Communications and Media.
Rob Warren, currently regional operations manager, Nissan Midwest Region, is promoted to Director, CMM, and he will have responsibility for Juke, Quest, Versa and Sentra, replacing White.
Administration
Todd Woods, currently senior director and deputy general counsel, is promoted to vice president and general counsel, replacing Tavi.
INFINITI
Eugene Litvinov, currently CMM, INFINITI USA, is named to the new role of Director, Strategic Projects, INFINITI USA. He will focus on initiatives to drive increases in sales growth and retailer profitability.
Bob Welby, currently director, Sales Operations, INFINITI USA, is named director, CMM, INFINITI USA, replacing Litvinov.
Jon Finkel, currently director, Global INFINITI Client Experience, is named director, INFINITI Sales Operations, replacing Welby.
Matt Wilson, currently senior manager, INFINITI Client Experience, is promoted to director, Global INFINITI Client Experience, replacing Finkel.
