UPS (NYSE:UPS), a global leader in logistics, has named Jose Maria (Chema) Odriozola as president of operations for UPS Latin America. Under this role, he will be responsible for all UPS business units and operations in the region. He most recently served as the company’s country manager for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden since 2015. Previously, Odriozola was UPS Switzerland’s country manager during 2014.
Over the course of 30 years, Odriozola has led several key leadership roles for UPS in Europe, including hub division manager in Spain, transportation manager for UPS United Kingdom and Ireland, and transportation manager for the company’s South and West Europe Districts, as well as lead project manager for the Europe Network Planning and Procurement Centralization Project. He began his career at UPS in 1986 as finance and accounting supervisor for UPS in Spain where he held several positions in procurement, hub and feeder, and center operations.

A native of Spain, Odriozola will relocate to UPS’s Air Hub Gateway offices in Miami, Fl.
