California’s freight and bus operators creep ahead with NG adoption

Michael Nash assesses the recent announcements for natural gas uptake in the heavy-duty truck segment

There has been some recent movement in the adoption of natural gas (NG) across California’s heavy-duty (HD) truck segment, with another fleet operator opting to use the alternative fuel in its new tractor-trailers. A public transport operator has also decided to try renewable natural gas (RNG) in a large number of buses.
