Another fatal Jeep Liberty crash has put FCA's safety record under the spotlight, sparking a fresh round of debate between the OEM and safety groups. In August, a driver in Elyria, Ohio was killed when her 2007 model year Jeep Liberty was hit from behind at high speed. The Jeep, which was stopped at a traffic light, burst into flames following impact.
