The industry is unanimously agreed that ADAS will save large numbers of lives, but the more advanced ADA technology becomes, the more responsibility will be entrusted to the vehicle itself. With higher levels of autonomy, drivers will be putting their lives in the hands of their cars. OEMs are therefore set to take on more liability, and for that reason, extensive verification and testing of ADAS features is essential.
