Autonomy and blockchain to converge in decentralised transport network

The DAV Foundation is laying the groundwork for a decentralised, peer-to-peer, global transportation network. By Megan Lampinen

Machine autonomy and blockchain technology will naturally converge to rewrite the rules of transportation, and DAV is there to guide it. The DAV Foundation is developing a decentralised autonomous vehicle (DAV) network as an open sourced platform to allow individuals or companies to buy and sell autonomous transportation services. "Our principal founder and Chief Executive saw these two burgeoning technologies expanding at fairly rapid pace. He saw what the natural consequences were for the convergence of the two, and that’s what DAV is about," explained Co-Founder and Chief Communications Officer John Frazer.
