Dutch zero-emission bus mandate spurs electrification efforts

The pressure is on for Dutch public transport to clean up its act. Starting in 2025, all new public transport buses will need to be zero-emission. That can be through a battery electric set-up or a hydrogen fuel cell one, but the end result has to be the same. Also, the source of the energy needs to be clean, either from solar panels or wind turbines in the region.
