Alliance submits comments to FCC on the importance of automotive safety being a priority in the 5.9 ghz spectrum

On June 12, 2019, the Auto Alliance submitted comments to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on the importance of automotive safety being a priority in the 5.9 GHz spectrum. Automakers believe it is important to ensure that intelligent transportation systems (“ITS”) and vehicle-to-everything (“V2X”) technologies are able to operate in the 5.9 GHz band free from harmful interference.
