Suppliers eye further gasoline engine emissions reductions

Gasoline direct injection tech can create particulate matter, but Bosch believes it has a solution. By Xavier Boucherat

Be in no doubt: gasoline engine optimisation remains a top priority for suppliers, who are under the cosh from automakers not just to assist in meeting increasingly stringent emissions standards, but to help develop the technology that can justify gasoline consumption in a world which urgently needs to decarbonise.
