Typical ranges on electric vehicles (EV) are becoming increasingly palatable for consumers. Models with ranges of 300 miles (483km) or more have reached the market, enough the satisfy most needs. The problem is, most people buy vehicles which can satisfy not just most needs, but all needs, including long-distance journeys. As such, range anxiety could still prove a deterring factor, even with 300 miles in the battery.
