This is to inform you that Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (“MMC”) will postpone the announcement of financial results for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020, which was scheduled for May 13, 2020, as follows:
1. Reason for postponement
Due to the worldwide spread of COVID-19, the governments of each country have been taking measures to prevent the spread of the infectious disease. As a result, financial closing and audit work has been delayed at overseas consolidated subsidiaries in the Philippines and other countries. Therefore, it is expected to take time to complete the financial closing process, including the audit procedures, and we have to postpone the announcement of our financial results, which was scheduled for May 13, 2020.
2. Future plans
The announcement of financial results after the postponement is scheduled for May 19, 2020. We will promptly inform you of any changes that need to be disclosed in the future, such as a further postponement of the announcement.
