Automakers have become well accustomed to an industry dominated by the internal combustion engine (ICE). However, upcoming regulations and increasing concerns over climate change have left the ICE's days numbered. The inevitable transition to electric vehicles (EVs) poses many questions for the industry, but for those automakers which sit at the top of this hierarchy there is a key query on their minds: “how can we continue to turn a profit in an electric, and potentially shared mobility, world?”
