EV-heavy policy prompts technology ban debate

The climate crisis has sent governments scrambling to come up with a new plan to address transport emissions. The sector accounts for a sizeable percentage of the total CO2 emitted—in the US, surface transport is responsible for more than a quarter of the entire country's CO2 output. It is widely recognised that vehicles need to clean up their footprint, but not everyone agrees on the way to go about it.
