PEUGEOT retains the number one position in the passenger car segment with a market share of 17.3% in the first nine months of 2021.
These results are driven by all the vehicles in the range and particularly by the PEUGEOT 208, which remains the best-selling vehicle in France, as well as the PEUGEOT 2008, 3008, 5008 and 508, which have enabled the lion brand to consolidate its leadership position over this period.
PEUGEOT is also the leader in sales to companies in the first nine months of 2021.
Over the nine months to 2021 :
– PEUGEOT has two vehicles in the top five best-selling passenger cars in France:
o The PEUGEOT 208 leads with a market share of 5.2
o The PEUGEOT 2008 retains third place with a market share of 4.3
– Five vehicles are leaders in their segment:
o The PEUGEOT 208 in the B segment with a market share of 5.2
o The PEUGEOT 2008 in the B-SUV segment with a market share of 4.3
o The PEUGEOT 3008 in the C-SUV segment with a market share of 3.2
o The PEUGEOT 5008 in the C-SUV 7-seater segment with a market share of 1.4
o The PEUGEOT 508 in the D segment with a market share of 0.5
In a passenger car market that grew by 3.9%, PEUGEOT had a 17.3% market share
In a LCV market up 17.3% PEUGEOT has a 17.9% market share
In a PC+LCV market that grew by 9.8%, PEUGEOT posted a market share of 17.4%.
