FCA Bank announces a partnership with Knaus Tabbert to provide financial services to the sales network and end customers of the German company, one of the leading manufacturer of motorhomes, caravans and camper vans in Europe.
The partnership between FCA Bank and Knaus Tabbert, already active in Germany, will soon be extended to Italy, France and all other European countries. The agreement involves a number of brands, including Knaus, Tabbert, Weinsberg, T@B and Morelo, which sell a wide range of vehicles for leisure, including luxury ones. By entering into a cooperation arrangement with Knaus Tabbert, FCA Bank continues its diversification and expansion in Europe, with the aim of strengthening its role as a leader in mobility by combining financial services for dealers and end customers in the motorhome and caravan sector.
This is a constantly growing market, which saw record growth in Europe in 2021, with total registrations of leisure vehicles up on the previous year by 10.1% (in particular, by 13.2% for motorhomes and 3.7% for caravans), with a total of over 260,000 new units. In addition, for the first time in Europe, the mark of 180,000 new motorhomes registered in 12 months was exceeded, out of a fleet of around 6 million vehicles.[1]
“We are proud to have signed the partnership with Knaus Tabbert, Europe’s leading company in the leisure vehicle sector. The boom in sales and registrations recorded in recent years demonstrates the growing importance of motorhomes and caravans among the international public” said Giacomo Carelli, CEO and General Manager of FCA Bank. “This agreement is a great opportunity for us to expand our presence in the recreational vehicle market”.
