Nissan Brunei has just exclusively premiered the all-new SUV – “Nissan Magnite” on the 16th September 2022.The launch was officially officiated by Mr. Haji Shahrum Bin Haji Jaafar, the Sales Manager of Nissan Brunei with an opening speech followed by the unveiling of the car.

The ALL-NEW Nissan Magnite is a subcompact crossover SUV that represents Nissan’s global SUV heritage and advanced Japanese engineering. The Nissan Magnite has been specially designed in Japan and has been tested at Nissan’s world-class testing facility, the Nissan Tochigi Proving Ground, where other models such as Nissan GT-R and Nissan Ariya have been tested. In Nissan’s global SUV heritage and its advance Japanese technologies, it has been part of Nissan philosophy to empower people through breakthrough product and technologies. The name “Magnite” is a portmanteau of the words “magnetic” and “ignite”. Nissan Magnite is powered by 1.0 – liter turbocharged engine that emits a horsepower of 99HP/5,000 and torque of 160Nm/3,600 (Magnite Upper MT) & 152Nm/4,400 (Magnite Premium CVT). The car produces both performance and fuel efficiency that satisfy current consumer trends.
STYLISH CONCEPT
The exterior itself sets apart from others that it’s not just stylish but functional for customers. Thanks to the beautiful big, bold, freshly design that gives it a confident and agile stance while still appearing vibrant and youthful. The all-LED front light package includes noticeable L-shaped daytime running lights that sit below the stylish slim LED headlamp. White split Signature Tail Lamp.16″ inch rims. It is also equipped with LED headlamps and also keyless entry with a push-start button. It is featured with 205 millimeters of ground clearance, silver front and rear bumper skid plates, and its functional roof rails can load up to maximum weight of 50kg. Together with the edgy grille, featuring Nissan’s new brand logo emblem, it gives the Nissan Magnite a striking SUV presence.
VARIANTS
In Brunei market, the SUV is available with two variants which is:
1. Magnite Upper (Manual Transmission)
2. Magnite Premium CVT (Auto Transmission).
It comes with seven colour options which includes two dual-tone for CVT only (Pearl White / Flare Garnet Red with Black top) and five monotone paint options (Storm White and Flare Garnet Red (MT only), Onyx Black, Blade Silver, Sandstone Brown) to choose from.
COMFORTABLE CABIN
Nissan Magnite is a comfortable 5-seater SUV which has a spacious layout inclusive with its high seating position and wide shoulder space between the driver and front passenger. Its cargo space can load up to 336L that is enough to carry daily essentials and luggage ready for any adventures. It is furnished with a centre armrest (for Magnite Premium CVT only).
Built for outgoing and active lifestyle owners, the Nissan Magnite is well equipped with an 8-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto together with 6 speakers within the car. It also has a 7-inch digital instrument display screen that shows all the required information to ensure drivers’ a fun yet informative drive.

Since the introduction of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Nissan prioritize drivers’ and passengers’ safety as part of a fun driving experience. There are plenty of safety features equipped in Nissan Magnite such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Rear View Monitor (MT only), Around View Monitor (both MT & AT) technology enhances safety by helping spot obstacles around the vehicle (applies to Magnite Premium CVT only), Immobilizer and Anti-Roll bar to maintain a steady drive. It also has International Standard for Child Car Seat Fittings in cars (ISOFIX) whenever required.
