In-cabin air quality may be worse than on the road

A new study measuring in-cabin air suggests more standardisation is needed to protect drivers from pollution. By Lee Monks

While considerable emphasis is placed on reducing road pollution to hit emissions targets, what about the state of the air inside a car? Though not yet part of broader target metrics, driver health and the efficacy of cars in expelling or repelling pollutants could soon become a point of interest to carmakers as they work for a cleaner automotive era.
