Nissan board could discuss Uchida successor on 11 March

Reports from Bloomberg and Reuters indicate Nissan will discuss Uchida’s exit and deliberate over who might replace him. By Stewart Burnett

Embattled Japanese automaker Nissan will hold a board meeting on 11 March to discuss the potential departure of Chief Executive Makoto Uchida, according to a pair of reports by Bloomberg and Reuters dated 6 March 2025. In addition to discussing the timeline of his exit, board members will also deliberate over who might replace him.
