Hesai CFO details plans for overseas production lines

LiDAR manufacturer Hesai plans to open up production lines overseas to supply foreign customers concerned about tariffs. By Stewart Burnett

In an effort to circumvent tariffs, Chinese LiDAR manufacturer Hesai plans to build its first overseas production lines. In a 17 March interview with The Financial Times, Chief Financial Officer Andrew Fan explained that the lines would support foreign automakers that are concerned about potential geopolitical ramifications.
