The city of Toronto has offered up one of the first instances of direct retaliation by a government against Tesla and its Chief Executive, Elon Musk, over the US’ trade tariffs. The automaker’s vehicles will no longer be eligible for incentives around the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) intended for use as taxis or rentable vehicles.
