BMW brings carbon fibre technology and experience to 7 Series

BMW Group has featured its Carbon Core unique body structure in the new 7 Series, based on technology transferred from the 'i' models

BMW became the first vehicle manufacturer to use significant amounts of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) when it launched its i3 battery electric car. This move was seen as a strategic shift, bringing CFRP to a wider audience.
